About Dr. Jennie Moctezuma: Founder of Create-ED, LLC
Jennie Moctezuma, PhD founded Create-ED to elevate organizations and individuals to fulfill their mission with creativity, vision, and equity for positive change. She has a specific expertise in leadership development, arts-based approaches, equity-driven communication, emotional literacy, facilitation, and policy. Jennie has served as a consultant to non-profits, government departments, and school districts, as program director, organizational leader, educator, scholar, arts administrator, and photographer.
Jennie has been awarded degrees in Art/Peace and Global Studies (B.A., Earlham), Arts Education (M.A., NYU), Organizational Leadership (M.Ed., Columbia University), and, most recently, completed her doctorate focusing on arts integration in the turnaround school setting (PhD, University of New Orleans).
